Last season the A team had their most successful year ever, winning the league and taking runners up in the knock out cup. This is the second time in recent years that the league trophy has been won but the elusive double still evades us. The A team are still flying high in the league but a drop in recent form has seen them slip down to mid table, but we are assured that this is only a temporary blip !!!! The chase for the knock out cup is underway and the team faces a tough second round match against The Brown Cow (Nettleham) on the 16th August. Unfortunately the recent dip in form has continued seeing the team slide well down the league and being knocked out of the cup. oh well roll on the winter league!!!!! |
