THE GOLDEN EAGLE CRICKET TEAM
After struggling against the English tropical rain season the cricket team managed to string together enough wins to see them through to the cup final. When skipper Mark Doughty decided he was leaving the crease early to get drunk, all responsibility was left to his younger brother (of many years) Andy who put in a sterling performance in the crease, bowling and fielding which earns him the man of the match. The Eagle managed to knock up 88 runs whilst Hyder Business services could only manage 68 after the allotted 16 overs. |
